Cargill has been operating in York since 2004 and has around 20 employees.
The York primary cocoa processing plant produces cocoa liquors, which are then used by customers to make their individual recipes of chocolate.
The cocoa roasting plant is able to produce cocoa liquor that meets the most demanding specifications whilst retaining the superb flavour derived from this traditional nib roasting and triple mill grinding process.
| 2004 | Cargill acquired the Nestlé Group’s plant in York and entered the primary cocoa processing market in the UK |
