Describe your work responsibilities and the importance of your role.

I am working on developing new knowledge about products and specifications in the area of poultry. I introduce and improve the products, implement changes and support the sales team. My task is to support the business in creating new products and support the sales team to be qualified enough to sell them.

Describe your day-to-day activities and the skills needed to perform well.

My daily work varies and it is very colorful. Each day I have to make decisions regarding product development projects. I have to be open to new ideas and be able to improve. I have to cooperate with other functions in order to introduce changes and new products, so I have to be a good communicator and collaborator as well.

Describe your career path. Where did you start and how did you get to where you are today?

I started my career at Cargill as Premix Manager. My task was to sell our products and build good relationships with our partners and colleagues. I held this position for seven years, then I moved to the poultry and rabbit department. I have been working as Technology Application Manager in poultry since 2012.

What do you find most rewarding about your work?

My philosophy is to always perform better than before.

I am here because there are always new opportunities to improve myself personally and professionally. I like working with my team, too.

What advice would you give someone interested in a career at Cargill like yours?

Be brave and open, and don’t wait to start to build your career today. If you want to reach your goals, learn and try to do your best.

Share an interesting tidbit about yourself such as hobbies, volunteerism, favorite foods or activities, accomplishments inside or outside of work.

I like travelling and discovering new places. At Cargill, I like organized volunteering work. This summer I also volunteered at a local camp for children with disabilities. It was a fantastic experience for me.
